This past weekend we decided to take a mini road trip to somewhere we had never been before. We were hoping to capture some nice photographs but didn't anticipate how stunning the Lake Wivenhoe area truly is. Its only about half an hour from where we live. Needless to say it will be a spot we visit again ...and again..and again in the future. Great for a picnic!

Just goes to show you don't have to go 15,000 miles from home to find beautiful moments worth capturing. Always have your camera ready ;)
